Small Business Owners Around the Zodiac - Capricorn

Introducing the first of our Capricorns, in the Small Business Owners Around the Zodiac series, Bec Carey. Bec is currently on a journey where she is learning to understand and honour her energy through human design and reiki. She is also learning to listen to her intuition and invites others to come along on this journey with her.
Bec has the Sun in Capricorn, sitting in the tenth house of her chart. The Sun is how we shine and the house it is placed in reflects where we shine. The Sun in Capricorn loves structure and form. This placement brings Bec a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work hard. With it placed in the tenth house of her chart, Bec will shine when she is embracing her vocation. (The tenth house represents both our vocation and our career. Not everyone has their vocation as a career).
In her posts, Bec shares that she has learnt to be kind to herself, to embrace boundaries and to take her time. She has discovered new spiritual pursuits - reiki and Human Design that light her up. Setting boundaries and taking her time are positive Capricorn traits that she is embracing.
Bec has three other planets in the tenth house. Mercury is exactly conjunct her Sun. Mercury rules the hands and it fits perfectly with Bec now practicing reiki (hands on healing). Mercury also indicates that Bec may start to share her journey through writing blog posts and even books, down the track. Venus is sitting at the very top of her chart, suggesting that Bec will work with women and share ways to bring life into balance. The planet Neptune, siting close to Venus, brings the need for spiritual pursuits. It also gives Bec extreme sensitivity.
Neptune is Bec's oriental planet - the planet that rises before the Sun. This planet is very important when it comes to our career. Neptune indicates that in order to feel fulfilled, Bec will need to pursue her dreams.
The sign on Bec's tenth house cusp is Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the sign of journeys, so this fits perfectly with what she is doing. Sagittarius is on a quest to discover their own truth.
Bec has a Pisces Ascendant. Those with Pisces Rising are like chameleons, changing to fit into who (and what) others want them to be. It is hard to have a strong sense of self with this Ascendant. Bec has mentioned about feeling anxious and overwhelmed - this is her Ascendant picking up on everyone around her. Trying to be all things to all people brings burnout and exhaustion. Protecting herself psychically is smart.
Bec has the Moon in Scorpio in her chart, placed in the eighth house. This gifts Bec with a deep, emotional side. She has the potential to be highly intuitive and possibly psychic with this placement.
Bec has a lot of air in her chart, which makes her a good communicator. She will find exploring new ideas a joy. She has strong cardinal energy, which brings initiative.
It's likely that the Capricorn energy in Bec's chart overwhelmed her for sometime, until she finally moved onto her spiritual path. Now these softer energies can support her and her intuition will guide her. Her Capricorn energy will now protect her, by providing safe boundaries and clear direction. These energies are now working together in a very effective way.
