Scorpio Season - A Time of Self-Empowerment & Emotional Mastery

Updated: Nov 7

Scorpio woman holding a phoenix made of light, she's standing on the shore of a beach under the light of a crescent moon.

As the Sun moves into Scorpio, the cosmic energy once again shifts. Here we move from the lighter energy of Libra into the dark and murky waters of Scorpio. Scorpio is a sign that invites us to dive below the surface and explore what's underneath. During Scorpio Season, we have the opportunity to feel deeply, face what has been hidden and to reclaim our personal power from within.

Scorpio is a water sign, so our emotions are a major focus during this zodiac season. We find ourselves processing life through our feelings. We are asked to tap into our intuition and listen to our inner voice. During Scorpio Season, we undergo a release and renewal - but only if we allow ourselves to explore our very depths. This may be challenging but the rewards are many if we do so. We learn when to be vulnerable and when to maintain our emotional control. Observe your emotional triggers and practice self-mastery. Scorpio teaches us internal strength. Master your inner world and self-empowerment will shine through.

Rituals for Scorpio Season

Water Ritual

Fill a bowl with water. Write down what you want to release in black ink - fears, old emotional patterns, attachments or an old version of yourself. Read these to yourself, saying 'I wish to release.....' After reading your list aloud, submerge it in the bowl of water. See everything being released into the water, then pour the water and the paper out onto the earth once the paper has started to break down.

Shadow Work

Sit quietly, deeply breathing in and out. Focus on the parts of yourself that you hide or sit in judgement. Ask your inner self how you can integrate these aspects of yourself with love. Send white light to these dark areas and feel them growing lighter.

Candle Ritual

Light a black candle. Stare into the flame and feel your inner strength building. Feel yourself standing in your power. When your inner core is strong, snuff out the candle and say 'I am strong. I am powerful. I am unshakeable.'

Crystal Work

Gather a malachite (for transformation) and obsidian (for shadow work). Incorporate these into the above rituals for additional energy.
